Therapeutic Massage Therapy

Massage reaches deep layers of muscle. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. Theraputic massage is beneficial for athletes or those who sit for long periods of time. If you have been experiencing some chronic pain in your muscles or you are finding it hard to get comfortable when you are trying to relax, this could very well be caused by stress or tension. From overexertion in sports to just sleeping the wrong way, massage therapy can ease the unwanted tension in your muscles. I adjust each massage to meet the clients needs. If that is whole body massage from scalp to toe or you just need to me to work on your neck and shoulder tension. I customize the massage to meet your need, ensuring that the treatment is both effective and enjoyable.

Massage helps to induce a state of relaxation by reducing the production of stress hormones like cortisol and increasing the production of endorphins, which are the body's natural painkillers and mood elevators. This can help calm the nervous system and promote a sense of well-being.

Massage can help alleviate pain by reducing muscle tension and improving circulation. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with chronic pain conditions, as it can help interrupt the pain cycle and provide relief.

Massage can help improve blood circulation, which in turn benefits the nervous system by ensuring that the brain and nerves receive an adequate supply of oxygen and nutrients. Improved circulation can also help remove waste products from tissues more efficiently.

Massage therapy has been shown to help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by promoting relaxation and reducing the levels of stress hormones in the body. This can have a positive impact on the nervous system and overall mental well-being.

Massage can promote better sleep by helping to relax the body and mind, reducing stress and tension that may interfere with sleep. Improved sleep quality can have a positive impact on the nervous system's ability to function optimally.

Overall, regular massage therapy can contribute to a healthier nervous system by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being.

Cupping

By creating suction,(negative pressure) Massage Cupping is used to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue. Cupping helps bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues while moving deep inflammation to the skin surface for release. It can be used in combination with a traditional massage or as a stand-alone treatment.
